Abbygail Tardie



2025-26 Water Polo, Boys Head Coach


Please welcome Abbygail Tardie as our Head Coach of Boys Water Polo!

Abbygail attended John W. North High School from 2013-2017. She was a 4-year varsity member of both the girls’ water polo team and girls’ swim team and served as varsity captain for both teams. During that time, she qualified for and competed in CIF in both water polo and swim. After high school, she attended Sonoma State University, where she played Division II water polo and earned her B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies. During her undergraduate career, she returned to North during the summer to assist in coaching the girls’ water polo team during their annual summer league (2017, 2018, 2019). She is currently a graduate student at the University of California, Irvine, earning my MAS in Criminology, Law and Society. The 2021 season was her first year as assistant coach for the John W. North boys’ water polo team. Additionally, she is presently serving as the assistant coach/junior varsity coach for both the girls’ water polo team and the boys’ and girls’ swim teams at North.”
